Please Note: Im very tired and bitchy so this review is short whitted and not very ellaborate.
Get the fuck over it.
Where: Redhouse Live! Walnut Creek, Ca.
Why: Uhm Benefit for something that I forgot :( sorry Joe.
it was really lovely though.
Venue: I love redhouse, but they could be a little less strict.
Sound issues tonight? Good Job, Jon >:( haha jk<3
Northern Lights: I really enjoyed their performance. A bit boring to watch on stage but good.
The singer with the glasses on had a very Taylor Hollingsworth-ish vibe to him. Which was nice because I personally love Taylor Hollingsworth. Their sound is very hmm...early Conor Oberst. Before he became indie.
Dripsound: I love you. Enough said.
In Cadence: Well, I call this kind of thing a studio band. Meaning their better on a recorded track than live. But I cant say they weren't entertaining. My BIGGEST complaint, was that all of their songs sounded the same. Its an issue for me when I cant tell when a song ends and a new one begins because it sounds the same. But thats okay because they seem to have a good bit of fans that are into that kind of stuff. Oh and the lead singer sounded something like the rocket summer.
More exciting news in the music world, taking back sunday has 3 new songs on their myspace, and their cd comes out on the 2nd. And Conor Oberst's new cd came out on the 5th.
thank you jesus.
