Today is a sad day.
Today we yet again mourn the loss of incredible talent and celebrate the span of a noble life. Today we say good bye to Adam Goldstein, better known as Dj AM.
He was found dead today, Tuesday; August 28th, 2009 in his New York Apartment a little less then a year after escaping death by a plane crash with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker (Sept. 19, 2008).
The cause of death is still uncertain but sources report that he was found with drug evidence around him. AM was a former drug addict come clean and even had an Mtv drug intervention show in the works.

I feel blessed that I got to see him preform at BFD 2008. He wasn't just Hollywood hype, he was the real deal. He had the most memorable performance in my mind. I still talk about it to this day about how his set was just so powerful and just pouring energy and was everything a Dj should be. He had real talent and this hurts me deeply to say goodbye. He will be missed more than you can possible imagine.
Here's one to Dj AM; for saving lives and celebrating music. RIP Adam Goldstein, lost but not forgotten.
Long live the AM.
